About Legacy

Legacy is a selective community of exceptional executives and extraordinary humans who support each other, give back, and define their next chapters with intention. Our members include Board Directors, C-Suite leaders, VPs, Senior Directors, and Founders who gather monthly—virtually and in-person—to offer advice, share fresh perspectives, exchange opportunities, and elevate each other.

Membership is limited and curated, with community engagement happening through small and large virtual groups, and one annual in-person Retreat.

About the Legacy Executive Retreat

This is not another conference filled with slide decks and surface-level small talk.

The Legacy Executive Retreat is a high-trust, high-touch experience designed for legacy-minded leaders craving something more: meaningful connection, mutual support, and shared purpose. This immersive event balances powerful learning with deep relationship-building—complete with elevated happy hours, off-site experiences, and intentional downtime to connect.

Attendance is limited to 50 members.

Opportunity: Step Into the Spotlight

Challenge yourself to lead in a room full of leaders.
The Retreat offers an exclusive opportunity to speak or facilitate, positioning you as a leader among peers.

Selected speakers and facilitators will be:

- Highlighted in the Retreat agenda
- Promoted on social media and event materials
- Showcased with special event badges
- Given tools for personal promotion, including logo use and a community testimonial
- Awarded a credit: $500 for speakers, $250 for facilitators (can be used toward the event, extra nights at The Ritz, a spouse pass, or membership renewal)

Please Note: All selected speakers and facilitators must still hold a valid Retreat ticket. Preference is given to current Legacy members. Eligible candidates must be experienced executives (Director level or higher) or successful founders aligned with Legacy’s mission.

Available Roles
- Speakers: 3–4
- Facilitators: 5–8

Speaker Roles & Topics
Speakers open key Retreat tracks with 10-minute TEDx-style talks—authentic, raw, and thought-provoking. These set the tone for the small-group discussions that follow. We’re looking for speakers who go beyond teaching a lesson—they share a transformational moment that shaped them as a leader and a human.

Tracks Include:
- Leadership: Elevating yourself and your team
- Business Growth: Scaling through numbers, metrics, and money
- Life & Legacy: The personal side of leadership

Leadership Talk (1 Speaker):
Share a leadership lesson learned through success, failure, mentorship, or challenge. Talks should prompt discussion around topics like leading change, managing new leaders, or becoming a more effective leader.

Life & Legacy Talk (1 Speaker):
Stories that reflect who you are, how you lead, and what you want your legacy to be. Topics might include personal transformation, wellness, grief, or aging gracefully.

#GirlsClub Cause Talk (1–2 Speakers):
Given at the Awards Dinner, this 5-minute talk showcases #GirlsClub impact stories and encourages involvement. Speakers must have engaged with #GirlsClub within the past five years—personally or professionally. Talks should be honest, emotional, and reflective of our core values: authenticity, abundance, mentorship, role modeling, risk taking, integrity, community, and imperfection.

Facilitator Role
Facilitators guide 45-minute small-group discussions (~8 people) following each speaker session.
As a facilitator you will:
- Kick off the conversation
- Engage and include all voices
- Keep the group on track and on time
- Ask thoughtful follow-up questions
- Capture 1–2 key insights to share with the larger group

Facilitators will be seated with their group (no presenting, no whiteboarding) and will be supported with prep sessions and discussion prompts.

Selection Criteria
All event talent will be vetted for executive presence, authenticity, and alignment with Legacy values.

We’re looking for leaders who:
- Command a room while making others feel seen
- Lead with honesty and openness
- Bring insight, not ego
